Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai
The focal point of the Palm Jumeirah, the world-renowned, man-made island off Dubai’s coast, Altantis, The Palm is a 1,500-room luxury beach hotel and spa resort themed after the mythical city with which it shares its name, and featuring AWAKEN Spa.
Design for Leisure designed and built the wet area of the Shui Qi Spa located within the Royal Towers of Atlantis, including male and female areas with KLAFS saunas, steam rooms, heated laconium thrones and ice fountains. The spa has won numerous awards, including the World Luxury Hotel and Spa Award and the World Spa & Wellness Award.
DFL worked in collaboration with spa consultant Raison d’Etre and the interior design firm Wilson Associates to design and build Atlantis' 2,012SF Hydrothermal Area.
